Windows losing dominance : 2008 year of the Linux Desktop

The Evans Data Corp's latest survey has shown that windows is steadily losing dominance in North America. In India, many states are moving towards Linux. The author says that wine allows productive windows apps to run on linux, helps the transition. He says that Linux isn't going to phase out windows in the near future, but there will be a record number of linux desktops next year: hence 2008 will be the year of the Linux desktop
