A scientist in Israel has unearthed a set of equations which predict the precise conditions necessary for time travel. This doesn't mean that we will be able to build a machine, but at least, we know that if we exactly achieve these set of parameters, we might be able to travel in time (the stability of such a machine, if one is ever made, is also subject to speculation).
