Restoration of mosque in Egypt reveals ancient temple

The restoration of a mosque dedicated to the Muslim saint Abul Haggag revealed an ancient Egyptian temple dating back t the times of Pharoh Ramses. The mosque was built in the thirteenth century at the site of a Christian church which in turn was built on top of the temple. This discovery is likely to have religions issues related. Archeologists will shortly meet the local religion leaders to see the religious repercussions of exploration of the site.
