A teenage girl in Australia who underwent a liver transplant showed unbelievable results. She took on the donor's immune system. When diagnosed nine months later, she had changed her blood group to the donors. Doctors are still trying to figure out the exact set of parameters that led to this unbelievable event. However, doctors say that it might be difficult to point out what caused this.
If found, however, this might mean that we will have a better chance against rejections during liver transplants.
