18,000 organizations have signed up for a 3 week long simulation of a flu pandemic being sponsored by the US Department of Treasury. Basically this means that these companies will be forced, over a period of three weeks, to function with unpredictable workforce. Companies will not be able to choose who will be working and who will not. The brighter side of this is that many people will have a wonderful time out of office, and without actually fighting a flu.
